Freedom of Information Request (FOI)

For correspondence between P. Banks & staff concerning Portland Hall & Library

1) From Councillor Paula Banks to CAO M. Dwyer & Councillor Dunfield

Provided by Rideau Lakes Township in response to FOI (highlighting added):

July 7, 2023 - Early during the public consultation process on Portland Hall\Library, Councillor Paula Banks asks CAO and Dunfield to respond to her email, where she suggests the only public opinions that matter are from those people who actually have or will use the proposed new hall / library.

Perhaps  predictably,  given the nature of Councilor Banks' email, it appears based on the FOI response provided, to Rideau Lakes Grassroots Group, there was never a response from at least CAO M. Dwyer.

2) Perhaps linked to #1, likely a Portland resident emails Dunfield, as she forwards to P. Banks

Provided by Rideau Lakes Township in response to FOI (highlighting added):

July 24, 2023 - Resident (name redacted) provides a list of suggested audiences for requirements for Portland Hall/Library and other local Portland priorities.  The resident suggests the relative importance of each audience to Councillor Dunfield.  In turn she provides a brief response to the resident and elects to copy the CAO, M. Norwood (responsible for Portland Hall/Library project), and Councillor Paula Banks.  We don't know if there was further correspondence between Dunfield and the resident.
